Student/Workforce Potential

Using the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) definitions, the Technical Assistance (TA) Credential was developed to acknowledge the specific education needed to provide relationship-based professional development. TA Credential professionals include Professional Development Advisors, Principal Preparation Programs, Teacher Leaders, Child Care Resource and Referral Agency Specialists etc. There is currently insufficient coursework that leads to the Gateways Technical Assistance Credential to meet the needs of providers throughout the state.
