Pre K Lead Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. We are a NAEYC accredited center. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in early childhood education required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom. Also knowledge of curriculum development, and classroom management. If you have a love for working with young children and creating engaging learning environments, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans by utilizing DCFS standards, the Illinois Early Learning Standards and Creative Curriculum
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for children
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Develop relationships with families through discussions and communication throughout the day
- Work collaboratively alongside teachers and administrative staff
