Kids Academy Director
Job Description - (140 character limit)
Manage daily operations
Manage budget, including tuition and other finances ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Ensure compliance with all DCFS regulations and NAEYC standards.
Prepare KA and all staff for DCFS visits and periodic reviews to maintain NAEYC recognition.
Apply knowledge and experience in effective systems for communication with families and community. Participate in marketing events and community relations.
Ensure successful implementation of curriculum, working closely with lead teachers at all levels.
Recruit, hire and oversee staff development; including staff meetings, professional development days and performance reviews.
Actively develop and maintain positive staff relationships and parent partnerships
Attend monthly evening meetings of the Kids’ Academy Board; proactively keep this group informed of current operations and future plans
Develop marketing strategy to ensure community knowledge of CPC Kids’ Academy
Conduct registration, maintaining appropriate files and waiting lists
Complete monthly observations in all classrooms
