QUALIFICATIONS: The person selected for this position must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or development and be able to meet the requirements of all licensing and accreditation agencies. This person must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults and shows the ability to be patient and interact in an appropriate manner in both word and deed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies and
philosophy of Myahs and with the Licensing Standards as imposed by the Department of Children
and Family Services, and meeting the ITERS/ECERS requirements in order to maintain the center’s ExceleRate requirements
