Lidu Academy, a new Assyrian school in Lincolnwood, seeks a Head Teacher & Program Leader. This role combines administrative oversight with hands-on teaching, ensuring DCFS compliance and a safe, nurturing environment for children. The Head Teacher will lead curriculum development, integrate Assyrian language and culture, mentor staff, and promote professional growth. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, budgeting, scheduling, and being the primary point of contact for parents. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of leadership experience in early childhood education, a Bachelor’s degree, and DCFS certification. CPR/First Aid is required.
