Lead Teacher
Job Description - (140 character limit)
Plan and implement day to day schedule, Plan coordinate, and implement a program of daily activities,
Supervise day to day work of aides, volunteers, and assistant teachers
Supervise children along with other staff displaying a high sensitivity to the children's environmental safety, Communicate children's progress with parents formally and informally through parent conferences, monthly newsletters, daily contact, and formal assessments, Establish realistic limits and follow through with self discipline techniques, Attend curriculum meetings, special events, open houses and conferences as requested, Taking attendance, recording information about children as necessary to meet the needs of the program, parents, and children,
Perform related duties Act as a liaison between parents and directors Cooperate with other staff Attain a DCFS required 20 semester hours of in-service per year, Understand and support the philosophy and goals of the center
